We understand that not everyone can do this online. Our Reception Team will still be there to help and take you through a short medical questionnaire which will offer you an appointment in an appropriate timeframe.

Where can I find Rapid Health?

Rapid Health can be found on our website using this link, it can also be accessed via the QR codes in the surgery. Our Reception Team can also send you a text message with the web link.

Will I still be able to book appointments through Patient Access and the NHS app?

The only way to book appointments will be through Rapid Health. Patients will still be able to access medical records and request prescriptions through the NHS App and Patient Access.

Will Rapid Health be active 24/7?

Yes, you will be able to make appointments at any time.

What date does Rapid Health launch?

The planned date for the Rapid Health launch is on the 19th November 2024.

What do I do if I want to see a specific GP?

When booking an appointment, the GP’s with available appointments will be shown.

What do I do if I want to pre-book an appointment?

All our appointments will be available. After completing the Rapid Health questionnaire, an appointment will be offered within the appropriate timeframe.

I was not offered an appointment, what do I do?

Once you have completed our triage questionnaire, we will offer an appointment in the most appropriate timeframe. If you have not received an appointment, our Admin Team will be informed and your form will be triaged by a clinician. The Admin Team will contact you within 48 hours of completing your online triage questionnaire.

My problem is personal and I only want to tell a GP?

The information which you provide is saved to your medical records and reviewed by the Clinician during your appointment. If you require our assistance when booking an appointment but want the reason to remain confidential, we will have a tablet available in our reception area. One of our team can assist you if needed. Every employee at Groves Health – Vineyard Surgery adheres to our confidentiality policy.

How do I book a medication review?

The same way as before, please contact the surgery and book in with our Clinical Pharmacist.

How do I book a telephone result appointment?

This can be arranged by calling the surgery and booking into one of allocated appointment slots, for telephone results.

How do I book post-natal checks for myself and baby (6 week reviews)?

The same way as before, one of our Admin Team will be in contact. Or you can call the surgery to arrange these appointments.

How do I book my annual reviews, e.g., Asthma, COPD and Diabetes?

Our Admin Team can book these, you should also receive a recall for your annual review.

How do I book a Nurse appointment?

Please call the surgery to and arrange a nurse appointment or and appointment with our Healthcare Assistant.

Who will book a follow up appointment?

If a follow up appointment is required, then the clinician will book this.

I require an interpreter/assistance for my appointment?

All patients will receive a text/email confirming the appointment. In this message it will signpost you to the surgery if you require an interpreter/assistance.

I need a fit note, what do I do?
